Gull Force 10 is a 10% ethanol blend of fuel and is thus hydroscopic – absorbing water from the atmosphere or fuel tank .
It is designed as a fuel for automobiles only and not suitable for use in any form of aircraft or helicopter.

S&S is a California company interested to explore with Gull Force fuel for yourDragonXi,
which is an agile unmanned helicopter designed for rapid deployments to network-centric operations at remote and demanding theaters.

Referring to your web page http://www.gull.co.nz/ I'd be pleased to get more information about Gull Force fuel:

1) Gull Force as an aero fuel
a) used/tried by any fixed wing manufacturer ?
b) used/tried by any rotary wing manufacturer ?
c) any limits to altitudes ?

2) Gull Force as a fuel for unmanned helicopter
a) has any UAV manufacturer tested ?
b) maximum altitude (yourDragonXi can be dropped at high altitudes for rapid deployments) ?
c) any specific requirements for UAV engine manufacturers

3) Gull Force performance
a) according to your web page no significant improvment for engine; although fuel will burn better ethanol contains slightly less energy than petrol, is it so ?
b) tank size: is the 90% petrol/10% Gull Force tank bigger than similar petrol tank ?

4) Gull Force's by-product of the dairy industry’s activity in Gull Force
a) what is it ?
b) is it standard i.e. could it be produced in California, where we are based or anywhere ?
5) Collaboration with our engine manufacturers (if any spefic features from engine's point of view)

a) UK would be ok in Europe for you ? b) U.S. ok for you ?

6) Gull Force and yourDragonXi helicopter (Xi) ?

I'd like to know how Gull Force would fit with the following yourDragonXi features:

a) agility i.e. fuel should offer performance

b) aggressive manoeuvres i.e. fuel should offer performance

c) missions at remote theaters i.e. fuel should be available globally

d) manufactured in large volumes i.e. fuel should be reasonable priced, not expensive

e) flies at low altitudes i.e. no specific requirements for fuel during normal missions

f) dropped at high altitudes by a manned air vehicle for rapid deployments to remote theaters i.e. engine has to start up to 3000 feet (= ca. 1 km)

g) dropping temperature +23.9°F,+47.3°F = -4.5°C,+8.5°C i.e. fuel should take this

h) dropping altitude range at theaters 3000 - 10 000 ft = ca. 1-3 km i.e. fuel should not freeze here
