Sensotran is the SME partner in charge to develop the Industrial Application of this project, and thus we are in charge to contact to companies who requires our assistance. I’ve been trying to visit your web site, but I can only access to a wikipedia kind site without content. I suppose that yes, when we have something commercially available it could be integrated to an unmanned helicopter, because it will be small and light.

Id like to know whether the nano2hybrids project could consider a droppable device such as our wireless ad-hoc sensor (Sensor4Xi) ?

Sensor4Xi
ξ is an ad-hoc wireless sensor designed to be dropped by the unmanned helicopter (Xi) at a remote & demanding theaters and capable to build wireless sensor networks
ξ can be programmed to sensor its surrounding based on the mission instructions and only at the specified times
ξ uploads sensor data to Xi and downloads instructions for sensoring from Xi

Xi
ξ a rapidly deployable unmanned helicopter for network-centric operations at remote and demanding theaters, for example to detect gases
ξ capable to fly at low altitudes and in tight places Xi drops each Sensor4Xi to an optimal location for the mission
ξ collects sensor data from Sensor4Xi and downloads it - together with sensor data it has collected using its own embedded sensors - to Base4Xi for further processing

Base4Xi
ξ an autonomous base station downloading sensor data from all Xi helicopters at the theater and from each Sensor4Xi dropped by Xi around it
ξ filters and processes sensor data and uploads the information to the network
ξ receives from the network new instructions for sensoring, updates Xi and Sensor4Xi and sends Xi(s) to new sensor missions

The above network-centric UAS system is designed to rapidly deploy sensors to remote & demanding theaters and/or to provide longer period sensoring at the theater.

The nano2hybrids project's sensor could be embedded inside Sensor4Xi ?
